There's a small amount of options to customize a car, which includes "Paintshop" and "License Plate".
License plates are customizable, able to have a certain number of letters and numbers on them. License plates all cost 2 gold.
There used to be an upcoming option to edit your engine. However it was removed because there was no development of it.
In the paint shop, you can change the color of your car and/or add a decal to it. The decals available differ from car to car, and they all earn a "decal bonus" when you win a race. Some decals can be bought with cash, while others require gold. Different decals are available for different cars and some cost more than others, giving higher bonuses.

Pro decals[]
When you win a pro car, you get it in white with a faded grey stripe down the centre and side of the car. If you choose to get the sports pack, there are a variety of colours for this decal, but you must pay for them. However, included in the price is all the upgrades, Stage 5. Also, when you win new cars from multiplayer, the highest players win a special Pro livery, unique to the car and the event. This is usually the top 1% of the leaderboard.
Crew Decals[]
The different crews all have their own decals on the side and bonnet of their cars. The crew leaders car colour dictates the colour of the Tier. An exception to this is the Veloci crew cars, which are painted light purple, but the tier is defined scarlet.
