I'd like your opinion regarding whether World Record times (held by members of the CSR2 Community) should be added to Car pages. Times and shift patterns would be made as external links, to the spreadsheet and/or relevant videos. Yes community-based, but helpful information to players of the game.
Something similar to what the hungarian wiki has would be ideal, as it provides more information than the table on Cars (CSR 2).
ZooCar is only one source, and is done in regulation races. the source ive followed is Kimons table (done in live races). Compromise could be to have both the reg times and live times, or choose one to follow.
Kimon's table is updated regularly through submissions almost daily to their facebook page , whereas Zoo's doesnt seem to be updated past one or two videos.
whichever is used is fine with me, just the live times seem more accurate as skill is involved a little more imo.
If Kimon's info is to be used, ill shoot him a message to ask for permission.
well, guess i'll have to tell you what this is all about. you see, i got blocked on the Asphalt wiki, all because of the incident i had. i understand that you blocked me because of the incident from the Rezvani Beast Alpha article. but it's because NukeStar and TweakRacer got angry at me for expressing my opinions and because i got triggered because of the fact that i was being salty that they wouldn't accept my opinions. yes, i started it, but i didn't want to cause any conficts. at all. but there i went running my big mouth. and the inevitable happened.
i think i owe an apology to you and NukeStar and TweakRacer. i'm sorry for causing conflict when i wasn't supposed to.
i'm trying to be as neutral as possible, but it's hard to do so. i always give in to the anger no matter what. all because i have different opinions from others in the wiki. i'm also trying to be helpful to others.
i'll just try to avoid conflicts. if you're reading this, i'll just not talk to NukeStar OR TweakRacer at all. you can tell me what i did wrong and how to solve this.
well, if i don't get unblocked till the Zenvo TS1 GT R&D comes, i guess i'll have to deal with it and take my punishment.
also, i was only ranting on Vivendi, because i considered them the real problem and not Gameloft. i may understand now that i was foolish and that i shouldn't have caused any conflict. but i'll have to deal with it and move on.
also, me getting blocked for one month will be hard. no comments, no blogs, nothing. guess i'll get bored really fast. and R8 tyke and TF2014 will be worried about me.
and since you gave me some good advice to prevent myself from getting blocked in the future -again, thanks for the advice- what other games do you play when you're bored or when you're not busy on the wiki? i do have some in mind, like the Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga remaster, but i'm close to beating it.
but for now, i'll just farm in Asphalt 8 and mind my own business for now.
one question about CSR Racing, though. have you ever hated a car in CSR Racing so much that the hate on it was transferred to Asphalt 8? i know i have and that car was the CX-75. the worst of the 720PP bunch, because you need cat reflexes to master it. and oh boy, i still hate this car! in real life, it's cool-looking, but in CSR Racing? EVERYONE'S WORST NIGHTMARE! my god, i hated that car SO MUCH! still, my love for the LaFerrari both in Asphalt 8 and in real life and my hate for the CX-75 in Asphalt 8 was because of this game.
i got more subjects to talk about, but i gotta go. let me know, okay?
okay. it's been a month since the ban in the Asphalt wiki happened, but it still says i'm temporarily banned. just out of curiosity, does it take time to actually get unbanned after the ban expires? or is it something else? because i took my punishment as it is. i just don't know what happens after that.
or is it probably because we both live in different time zones? because if it is that way, then i'm just legitimately dumb.
sorry to have bothered you and thanks.
edit: never mind. turns out it took a bit of time. again, sorry for bothering you.
he was gonna steal my original ideas from what i did best in my blog page (which people call a cesspool). no permission or anything. if he wanted to get ideas, Jskylinegtr should've asked instead of stealing them in the first place.
sure, it's not a justifiable response, but stealing people's original ideas is wrong.
Around one year ago, i got banned from the Wiki because i was joking with a dude removing his things from the comments. After one year, can i ask you to get unbanned? I will be neutral, just i want to comment. Isn't this a place for the players? Please, i won't do the idiot this time again :(
hi admin, i have just realised my mistakes above and it seems i am not myself at that time posting all that.. we players can all relate to each other when Gameloft treat us unfairly with glitches or bugs we often use languages and negative comments. anyways i want to sincerely apologize for my actions and i promises that it wont happen ever again in the near future.
Be careful with your language when solving disputes with other Wikia contributors. Use of vulgar language is totally not necessary when working towards a solution. I'd like to keep this wiki clean when possible (unless the vulgar language is used in the context of in-built CSR Content, then it will be approved). As an admin, you have a responsibility to deal with problems justly, and while I have no issue with your recent blocking response on the Asphalt Wiki, the language is not needed.
Just be careful from now on when dealing with disputes.
Hello, it is me, Vortexshadow, this is not relating to anything about this game, but I would like to mention that I was the fandom user on Asphalt 8's Wiki, who put "false information" in 19th October 2017 at 17:42, I got blocked from the Asphalt Wiki, I am just saying, that I was just joking and was going to say it was a joke later on, as there is no way I could find the actualy release date of that update. So I would appreciate it, if you would remove the block, I didn't mean to put false information, I was just messing around xD, anyways I hope I get unblocked, and please reply as soon as possible. If you still don't know who I am, I apparently said that the update is releasing in October 21st, but it was a joke, and I was seeing if anyone would get it, but not, so I hope I get unblocked, because it is really boring having to just watch the chat all day, and not suggest anything. And I will never put any false information ever again. The fandom users name was 22.214.171.124, and you blocked that person, and that person is me. Thank you for reading, and please unblock me, thanks, I would really love a second chance, kind regards, Vortexshadow
While I may not have been present to see what you did on the Asphalt Wiki, what Profoundly did was probably justified. People don't get blocked after only one act of vandalism from an admin, so you must have been causing problems from before the point you were blocked, whether you were aware of it or not. Vandalism is taken quite seriously in the Wiki communities as it wastes resources and time we can use to spend elsewhere clearing up 'jokes'.
If you do get unblocked, I'd use this as an opportunity to change your act on the Asphalt wiki.
There's a community waiting in anticipation for the update to be available and you come along claiming to know when it'll be launched. Even if you make a disclaimer later on it's just a "joke", chances are other people aren't going to see that disclaimer and spread your rumor as the truth. Eventually, a sizable portion of the community is expecting that fake launch date only for nothing to come by. Excitement turns into impatience and later into anger. They'll want to take their frustration on being tricked out on something and what do they see?
At best, a few harsh comments and at worst, article vandalism, all from a "joke" for the sake of attention and a laugh.
If you don't know anything, don't f**k around by saying you do.
Woahh, geez calm down... I didn't mean to do it... You can't just be that rude out of nowhere. Plus, it is obvious that there is no way the update is going to be released that day, and if you didn't know, the wiki doesn't always say the truth, if you are unaware of such things, the last update release date was changed several times, because they were predicting the release date, that is the exact same thing I was doing, also, the "Porshe 918 Spyder EDD"s release date was also changed several times because they were predicting or estimating. This proves that it wasn't all a joke, it was mostly just estimation, and even if I was wrong, I was just a few days wrong, and instead of completely blocking someone forever, you could just highlight it and say next to it False Information, just so much easier for everyone to know, blocking someone is too far, especially if the expirey date is infinity, I suggest you do what I said before, instead of blocking them, and making them suffer as much as I did. And I would appreciate it if I atleast didn't get a permenant block, because that is just too harshe... And next time, dont swear because that hurt... alot...
And, about what you said of spreading rumours, the update would've been installed already before even a few people got told the rumour, so there is no reason you have whatsoever.
